The Wedding
-
What time does the wedding start?
The ceremony begins at 4 o’clock pm on the East Lawn. Cocktail hour will immediately follow in the Italian Garden, with the reception after that in the tent. All of these locations are on the grounds of Palacio do Freixo.
-
Are children invited?
Yes! We love your whole family and are happy to have kids join in the celebration.
-
What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?
We want to make sure you enjoy everything as much as possible! Please let us know with your RSVP or contact Mathew or Erin directly.
-
What if I'm not staying at Palacio do Freixo?
No problem! You can arrive by cab, Uber, or a rental car (there is parking on site). When you arrive let them know you’re there for the Kottoor wedding and they will direct you where to go.
-
What should I wear?
All guests are welcome to wear Indian or Western attire, with bright, festive colors being a good choice. If you're unsure, opting for a blend of Indian and Western semi-formal attire would also look great.
Indian attire for women could include sarees, lehengas, anarkalis or salwar kameez. If you’ve never worn a saree before, be sure to get one that is pre-draped or pre-stitched. Western wear could include gowns or midi dresses, or skirt and blouse combinations.Men looking to dress in Indian attire should look for a kurta. Western attire could be suits, or slacks with a dress shirt.
-
Any tips on where to buy Indian clothes?
-
Is there anything else I need to bring?
A good time! If you’re invited, we’ve shared some great memories in the past and we can’t wait to add more.
-
Is it ok to compliment the parents of the Bride and Groom?
Please do! We know they’re going to look dashing and they deserve to hear it!
-
When do you need my RSVP?
As soon as possible is great, but please let us know no later than Friday, April 25. You can RSVP here.
